·       Play the cassette , lesson 6, S practise the 1st and the 2nd con’s

·       Hang the poster, S look carefully and listen me:

American dollars........... 3.75 riyals, this means that you get one dollar for 3.75 riyals. Read the other lines, introduce the new words:

  1.  Deutsch marks: /doytsh-marks/, say: It comes from Germany.

  2.  Dinars

  3.  Japanese:/ jàp´e-nêz¹

  4.  Swiss: comes from Switzerland

  5.  Yen: This is the Japanese currency.

·       Show S the cards , they’ll repeat.

·       Bring 2 S, give one a piece of paper with e.g. (1000), introduce: calculator.

·       S practise the con of lesson 6 with 1000 riyals and the American dollars,

·       Write on the board:

1000  ÷   3.75 = 266.6

·       Divide the class, use some pieces of paper with different amount in Saudi riyals, S work together.

·       Ask two say the con.
